Warranty Policy
This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage, service process, and responsibility terms for ENGINE professional coffee equipment. It is designed to help customers, distributors, and business partners understand how warranty support is handled after purchase.
1. Warranty Coverage
ENGINE provides warranty support for eligible coffee machines, grinders, auto pressing devices, and related commercial coffee equipment purchased through authorized sales channels.
During the warranty period, we will provide support for manufacturing defects, material defects, or functional issues that occur under normal use and proper installation conditions.
2. Warranty Period
The standard warranty period is valid from the date of purchase or delivery, depending on the confirmed sales agreement, invoice, or official order record.
Specific warranty periods may vary by product model, region, distributor agreement, or project contract. Please refer to your quotation, purchase document, or official sales confirmation for the exact warranty period.
3. What the Warranty Includes
Warranty service may include technical guidance, troubleshooting support, replacement parts, repair support, or other reasonable solutions depending on the product issue and actual situation.
- Manufacturing-related defects
- Material or component defects under normal use
- Functional failure caused by product quality issues
- Technical support for confirmed warranty cases
- Replacement parts when required and approved
4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by improper use, incorrect installation, unauthorized repair, poor maintenance, external conditions, or normal wear and tear.
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, negligence, or improper operation
- Damage caused by unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair
- Failure caused by incorrect voltage, unstable power supply, or unsuitable electrical environment
- Damage caused by water quality issues, scale buildup, blocked pipes, or lack of regular cleaning
- Normal wear parts, cosmetic wear, scratches, stains, or appearance changes after use
- Damage caused by transportation, storage, moisture, corrosion, fire, flood, or other external factors
- Products without valid purchase proof, serial number, or confirmed order record
5. Maintenance Responsibility
Commercial coffee equipment requires regular cleaning and proper maintenance to ensure stable performance and long service life. Customers are responsible for using the equipment according to the user manual, maintenance guide, and technical instructions.
Lack of maintenance, improper cleaning, or continued use after a problem appears may affect warranty eligibility.
6. Warranty Service Process
To request warranty support, please contact ENGINE or your authorized distributor with product details and a clear description of the issue.
Please prepare the following information when submitting a warranty request:
- Product model
- Serial number, if available
- Purchase invoice, order record, or delivery document
- Description of the issue
- Photos or videos showing the problem
- Installation and usage environment information, if required
7. Inspection and Confirmation
After receiving the warranty request, our support team will review the information and may ask for additional photos, videos, test results, or operation details.
Warranty approval depends on inspection results and confirmation that the issue is related to a covered product defect.
8. Repair, Replacement, or Parts Support
For confirmed warranty cases, ENGINE may provide repair guidance, replacement parts, remote technical support, or other suitable service solutions.
The final service method will depend on the product model, issue type, customer location, distributor arrangement, and availability of parts.
9. Shipping and Service Costs
Shipping costs, inspection costs, labor costs, and on-site service fees may vary depending on the warranty case, customer location, distributor policy, and sales agreement.
For issues not covered by warranty, repair parts and service costs may be charged after confirmation with the customer.
10. Distributor and Project Orders
For distributor orders, OEM/ODM projects, or bulk commercial orders, warranty terms may follow the signed agreement, sales contract, or distributor policy.
In case of any difference between this general Warranty Policy and a signed agreement, the signed agreement shall apply.
11. Limitation of Warranty
This warranty applies only to eligible products and confirmed product-related defects. ENGINE is not responsible for indirect losses, business interruption, loss of revenue, loss of profit, or other consequential damages caused by equipment downtime or improper use.
